We Went to Cayden's farewell. Wellington New Zealand!
I had fun with this photo:
Last year this guy from a big ranch in Boulder (Robison Ranch) bought hay from us. Tabor (the ranch guy) and Brian became fast friends over the phone and has talked periodically throughout the year. He invited Brian to come down and help out for a few days. He took Rian and Kendell with. It was the girls first time doing anything like that and they had a blast. They had to drive the cows that started to wander home back up the mountain. They got in a lot of riding. I don't think any of them wanted to come home!
Tabor and Rian and Kendell:

Tabor:
Riding in the nicest arena they've been too. And VERY large.
One morning some bulls got out so Rian and her dad drove them back to where they belong:
Next trip down Im going to go too.
It seems like we have had a soccer tournament every week. Rian loves to play though so its worth all the time.
They took silver at the Utah Invitational
Took 3rd in the Park City Extreme Cup
We spent the weekend up there and Matt and Lauren were in the same tournament so they came up too and mom and dad. It was our only getaway as a family for the whole summer. It was fun.
Thought about trying this:
Decided its better to just watch.
Rian turned 11!
Kendell loves to ride the 4-wheeler. Brian teases about buying her own gas because she can burn through a tank pretty quick.
We saw on the news there were fireflies out at Warm Springs. We went hunting for them one night but come to find out they only glow during mating season which was already over. We have to time it better next year.
We did catch a toad though.
Brian helped out at the Days of 47 Rodeo so we went up one evening and saw some amazing horses.
My little man is 10 months old! He is such a doll and has very sharp teeth. I think his way of showing love is by biting me. He is starting to stand up and I don't think walking is too far off.
Kenni had a friend over one day so we went for a horse ride.
And another.......
Little by little our yard is coming together. We've planted about 11 trees. Still have a lot of work to do but we are sure enjoying what we've got so far.
