I really wanted to keep up on this for my journal writing but alas, life gets in the way. So I will try to do a little catch-up. The most notable news is Rian got married! I believe the last time I wrote, she had just graduated. Since then, she briefly moved out to a college apartment in Provo (lasted about 2 weeks). She started school at UVU. She just about half way done with her Web Development with an emphasis in Design degree.
Anyway, it was a cold blustery day this past February. The 15th to be exact. She was working at Maracas like she has been the past several years. She served a table of several guys. 2 of them left their numbers or info for her. Fast forward a few days and she went out with one of them. McKade. The 15th was his birthday so they were out for his birthday lunch. After the first date they saw each other quite regularly and they got engaged on August 19th and were married on December 18th. Im totally summarizing because I have a lot to catch up on.
It was a cold winter day but beautiful and sunny. It had snowed earlier in the week but luckily the weather was perfect. We had all events at the River Bridge Event Center in Spanish Fork. At 11 we had a delicious brunch that consisted of the yummiest crepes, fruit, sausage, bacon. Then we left for the temple for the sealing. It was a beautiful ceremony and strange to see your oldest (yet still only 19) daughter get married.
As soon as I get more pictures of that day I will post them.
Kort played football all fall then moved right into wrestling. He was nervous to do both and yet he turned out to be super good at each of them! He scored lots of touchdowns and so far has taken 1st place at 3 tournaments. We have him signed up for 2 more this month.
