March has been very busy and fun. Rian has had 3 games now with her Nebo United Soccer team. I think this is only the second season the team has been together, so they still have a lot of learning to do. They play really well, but they need to get to know and anticipate what their team mates are going to do. Rian loves it and it is fun to watch her do something that I never did as a kid. She has been playing forward in all the games so she gets to kick off a lot and head for the goal.
This past week was Graci's Kindy 500 in school. All the kindergarten kids had to build a car.
They were able to parade around the school for all the other kids to see.
Then they went on a tour of US history. They visited Betsy Ross, The White House, Liberty Bell, Mt. Rushmore, Statue of Liberty,
and Abraham Lincoln. (aka-Mr. Bird)
The girls love teaching their sheep how to be led around. They really are fun animals.
Our hens lay a lot of eggs. 3 of them like to lay them in the haystack now instead of the coop ever since we got a couple more hens. It is really an egg hunt every day trying to find out which nest they laid in. Usually they are nestled between 2 bales and way far back so we have to wait for Brian to come with his long arms to be able to reach them. They also get mad at the cats if they are taking a nap in the same spot they need to lay an egg in. Its pretty funny to watch them.
Our girl Kenni is getting baptized this Saturday! She is very excited, loves being 8, and can't wait to start going to Achievement Days. We love her!
We were able to get tickets to a pre screening of The Hunger Games. We went with our good friends here in town. Cody and Erica, Clint and Emily. They are two sisters who married two brothers. How cool is that?
The guys took the day off work, we went shopping, dinner and the movie, which we all really liked. It was a really fun day and that is how we celebrated our 12th anniversary!
