Kenni, Graci and I had a fun time Friday. We got to spend the afternoon in my hometown of Centerville. I don't realize how much I miss it until I go up there. We went to pick up our finalized house plans. (shouts for joy!) The girls wanted to see the house I grew up in. Kenni kind of remembered it but she was only about 2 when mom and dad sold the house. Graci of course didn't remember at all. I sure remembered everything though. The only think that seemed different about the neigborhood is that it seemed a lot more dense with foliage. Maybe it is because all the trees and plants have had 11 years to grow since I lived there last. Then they wanted to go see the schools I went to and the place I used to work. Dicks Market Bakery-Decorating Department. Once again, it looked the same. Even my eclair filling machine was in the same place. (I had to buy some to take home by the way. And creme puffs. And apple fritters. And some mini eclairs as well) They even tasted the same.
We spent some time in DI (yes, you read right. You can find great things there), Petco, and Costco. I could have gone many more places but we needed to be getting home. Hopefully I can make another trip up there soon.
Yesterday i took the girls to a dance practice. They are having their recital in two weeks. Then school will be out two weeks later. I sold a puppy last night and next Thursday we get to go up with Brian when he goes to work and do fun things then take another puppy to the airport. We are meeting her new owner there who lives in Washington. Shelby has been sick all weekend so she and I stayed home from church today.

Wow, I've been thinking about taking a ride through the old neighborhood...just to see how things have changed. I really like the DI in Centerville too. and I miss Dick's Market. Even though htey have one in Layton, it is not the same.
We should go tour Centerville together sometime. Sure glad you have your house plans!
