This weeks happenings

Here is a picture of Brian's Dads horse King. They just sold him. They decided they have way too many horses to ride and feed. I am trying to decide if I should buy one to ad to our own little herd. Between his parents and ours we have 8 now. It was kind of sad to see him go. I was actually the last one in the family to ride him. That was a week ago. Brian Graci and I were riding one evening and a car stopped. A lady who is a photographer hopped out with her "subject" and asked if they could borrow a horse for their shoot. You can see a couple she took if you click here. They used Missy. Isn't she photogenic? Maybe I will have Brian take my picture with her.

I was down in our bedroom one day folding clothes and I heard noises and looked up and saw my Tiger and her babies staring back longingly. Did I ever mention that she delivered her little brood in our bedroom? Believe me, I didn't invite her. I walk in one day and heard little noises and instantly knew what it was because I knew she would be having them any day. I didn't know she snuck into our room. Luckily, she was mostly nestled in my box of winter clothes that I am using for a nightstand at the moment. Snow clothes wash pretty easy. Anyway, I thought it was a cute picture. I always hated cats. Until I found my Tiger.

We have been working and working and working on our house all week. One of Brians relatives who lives here in town is an electrician and he is being so wonderful to come and do it for us. Brian and I have been helping him a lot. The main floor is practically done and we should finish up with the basement tomorrow. It is funny because a lot of creatures are already moving into our house. The heating guys killed 2 bats one day, and just this afternoon we had a whole lot of fun with a squirrel in the basement. We went up there today and we had Bo come with us. (my little poodle) He was wandering around and when he walked past a box, it made noises. After a few minutes, we figured it was a squirrel. Brian (the big wimp. If you knew how many mice I have had to kill for him you would laugh) sent me over to move the box. He was standing clear over in the other room. I moved the box and the little guy sat still for a second. Then Bo moved towards him and so he took off running right in my direction. I dropped the box and screamed and the girls screamed and Brian was laughing and running around trying to catch him all the while Bo was chasing him all over the basement. Anyway, to make a long story short, he finally escaped and we had a good laugh about it. So, all these critters are enjoying our house before we get to.
