Last night
Yesterday Brian spent the day with the horses and I spent the day doing laundry. So last night we wanted to do something fun so we went to dinner then decided to go find a place we have been wanting to find for a long time. Brian remembers going there but couldn't remember how to get there. Thanks to our gps on our phones however, we found it. It is where the SF river meets up with Utah Lake. It was so pretty and I CAN'T wait to go back and take more pictures when I get my new camera this week. I finally decided to take the plunge and I ordered it. I have been waiting and Brian spoils me so much and let me get it. (Even though I probably don't deserve it) It should be here by Friday then I will start trying to learn how to take great pictures.

Finally............
It is about time. Before this week, my girls loved water. As long as it was no higher than their chest. They would cry every time they were in the bathtub if water got in their faces. Since they started swimming lessons this past week, they have made a HUGE improvement. They (well, Rian and Kenni at least) are not at all afraid to stick their faces in and Rian LOVES going all the way under now. I am so proud of them. It will be a lot more fun now for them to go swimming. I am glad they are doing good in their lessons especially since we have to drive about 40 min. to get there. It has been nice as well because they are private lessons. Her kids are there but they know how to swim now so she is able to just focus on my girls.

It sure has been a busy month. Kim and her kids were here for soccer camp 3 weeks ago. The following week was the Torgersen family reunion. Then Christian, Matthew, and Camille came home with us for a week. We attended the Oquirrh Hills Temple Open house, rode horses, went to a movie, and took them all to Boondocks. Then it was Orchard Days. We went to the rodeo Friday night and sat. morning the girls were in the parade for dance. The girls saw some toads at the rodeo so they wanted to go catch some. So Sunday night we went toad hunting, caught two and brought them home and put them in our window well. Yesterday I scheduled Graci to get her tonsils out in September. She thinks that she already got them out because the doctor looked in her throat. We have to keep telling her that she gets to get them out twice.
Now that Shelby is a little older, and can sit and be entertained for a few minutes, we have really been enjoying taking the horses to the arena. It is so fun! The girls are getting a lot more brave and really good on them. They want to be rodeo princesses someday. I ride Missy most the time and I just love her.

Babies and Bulls
My Shelby girl is almost 7 months! I don't know where my newborn went. I swear she was just here yesterday. At least she still feels little. She might be growing up, but she sure isn't growing very big. I love the photo below of her and the "baby bull bottle". She has 2 teeth! I have forgotten how cute new baby teeth are. Which reminds me, Rian lost her 3rd tooth. One on top. I spent yesterday morning trying to convince her to pull it. It was just dangling and I couldn't stand it anymore. But, I resisted doing it myself and after a bit, she finally did it. Kenni told her today that she has such a cute smile now.

If you look real real close, no, a little closer, you can see a tiny bit of hair.

Our alf alfa. With a few weeds thrown in. And some of my trees that I love. They are looking so good. They line the whole road.
Kenni is the only one that really dares to get out and play with Marcus. There is nothing like a little girl and her bull calf. (don't worry, he won't be a bull for much longer). I timed this shot perfectly. He just barely looked up from his bucket at me so I took it real fast. So cute.
aaaahhhhhh.......
Double aaahhhh........

Rian getting chased
We had a blast riding the horses in the arena the other night. My horse pictures are on my phone and I haven't sent them to myslef yet but this was taken right before. Again, Kenni is the one that loves to ride the most. Then Graci. Rian has kind of lost interest in them. I think she is a bit scared since she fell off a couple years ago.
Today in primary Kenni told her teacher that her dad didn't want to marry her mom (me) because I didn't have blue eyes. Brian teases the girls and me because mine are mostly green and his are blue and the girls all got his beautiful blue eyes. So somehow, she came up with him not wanting to marry me cuz mine weren't blue. I am glad he changed his mind and decided he could live with a green eyed gal. Kenni also almost literally bit my head off this week twice for calling her Kendell. So, let that be a lesson to ya'all. Don't call her by her real name. "Don't call me that! I HATE that name! My name is Kenni!" Crazy Hair do's.

Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Rian! She turned 7 yesterday! I took off early yesterday morning and met my mom with the girls in Beaver at the cheese factory then we came home. It sure is great to have them back. I missed them a TON. They had a party for Rian Friday at Kims house then yesterday she came home to a fun surprise:

Yes, a cow. Brian had called and arranged to get him from a Dairy close by so on Wed. I ran out and got him. The girls have been calling him Marcus. Don't know what their cousin Marcus will think about that. They have been having fun with him. He sure is a cute little guy.
She also got a Transformer, (she has been wanting bumble bee), Monopoly Junior, a pink ctr ring, a purse from Kim, money, and her birthday doll. We had a fun day and today we will make her some cupcakes. Kim comes tonight with the kids because Marcus has soccer camp at BYU. So it will be fun to hang out with them this week.

Lost
I feel kind of lost and out of sorts because Rian Kenni and Graci are at Kims house for a week. They have only been gone one day, and I can't believe how much I miss them. There were times when I would think that it sure would be nice to have a day to myself to get everything cleaned and projects done. Now, I realize that I would much rather have them here and have things take me longer and have a cluttered house than a clean one. I just miss them. At the same time, I know they are having a great time and I guess it is good to miss them and hopefully they will miss me and we can all appreciate each other more. Sure made me know more than ever that I love to be their mom. On the bright side of them being gone, it is also fun to just be me, Brian and Shelby. Reminds me of the days when it was just the 3 of us when Rian was a baby. I think Shelby likes 100% attention from us. She has been so happy and laughing at everything it seems. Every Sunday I get feeling down and kind of sad thinking of Brian having to go back to work on Monday. I was feeling even more down tonight knowing my girls won't be here either. Then he suprised me by telling me he had taken tomorrow off! I love it when he does that. He was going to wait till morning but I was getting sad. So, tomorrow should be good. We want to get our stuff done around here, then go to lunch and we have the rodeo committee barbq tomorrrow night.
We had a great Kleinman family reunion at the Old Pinery this past weekend. I will post a few pictures I took. (I mostly did video). We had a great time seeing all my family that we don't see too often. Candice and I cooked the first night. We made navajo tacos and laughed and laughed because we had about 50 extra scones. It was pretty funny. We planned a little too well I suppose. We had such yummy food and it was just a really fun weekend for me. The girls went home with mom and dad and Kim and Carl and then in a couple weeks after the Torgersen reunion, Kims kids will come home with us and spend the week. We are doing a kid-swap.

My sweeties and Camille who they love so much.

Oh, my Sissy Lou and her dad. I sure miss that little tyke.
I forgot about our little friend. Before we left on our trip, Brian had to get hay from the stack over to the horses. He started moving bales and two little heads poked out and about scared him to death. They were raccoons! He had to kill one :( but caught the other and brought it home. They were just babies but still pretty vicious. Me and the girls hiked up above our house a bit on the mountain to let it loose. He sure was cute. Too bad they aren't as nice as they are cute. I got to pet his little hand though.
