Babies and Bulls

My Shelby girl is almost 7 months! I don't know where my newborn went. I swear she was just here yesterday. At least she still feels little. She might be growing up, but she sure isn't growing very big. I love the photo below of her and the "baby bull bottle". She has 2 teeth! I have forgotten how cute new baby teeth are. Which reminds me, Rian lost her 3rd tooth. One on top. I spent yesterday morning trying to convince her to pull it. It was just dangling and I couldn't stand it anymore. But, I resisted doing it myself and after a bit, she finally did it. Kenni told her today that she has such a cute smile now.

If you look real real close, no, a little closer, you can see a tiny bit of hair.
Our alf alfa. With a few weeds thrown in. And some of my trees that I love. They are looking so good. They line the whole road.
Kenni is the only one that really dares to get out and play with Marcus. There is nothing like a little girl and her bull calf. (don't worry, he won't be a bull for much longer). I timed this shot perfectly. He just barely looked up from his bucket at me so I took it real fast. So cute.

aaaahhhhhh.......
Double aaahhhh........

Rian getting chasedWe had a blast riding the horses in the arena the other night. My horse pictures are on my phone and I haven't sent them to myslef yet but this was taken right before. Again, Kenni is the one that loves to ride the most. Then Graci. Rian has kind of lost interest in them. I think she is a bit scared since she fell off a couple years ago.
Today in primary Kenni told her teacher that her dad didn't want to marry her mom (me) because I didn't have blue eyes. Brian teases the girls and me because mine are mostly green and his are blue and the girls all got his beautiful blue eyes. So somehow, she came up with him not wanting to marry me cuz mine weren't blue. I am glad he changed his mind and decided he could live with a green eyed gal. Kenni also almost literally bit my head off this week twice for calling her Kendell. So, let that be a lesson to ya'all. Don't call her by her real name. "Don't call me that! I HATE that name! My name is Kenni!" Crazy Hair do's.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Rian! She turned 7 yesterday! I took off early yesterday morning and met my mom with the girls in Beaver at the cheese factory then we came home. It sure is great to have them back. I missed them a TON. They had a party for Rian Friday at Kims house then yesterday she came home to a fun surprise:

Yes, a cow. Brian had called and arranged to get him from a Dairy close by so on Wed. I ran out and got him. The girls have been calling him Marcus. Don't know what their cousin Marcus will think about that. They have been having fun with him. He sure is a cute little guy.
She also got a Transformer, (she has been wanting bumble bee), Monopoly Junior, a pink ctr ring, a purse from Kim, money, and her birthday doll. We had a fun day and today we will make her some cupcakes. Kim comes tonight with the kids because Marcus has soccer camp at BYU. So it will be fun to hang out with them this week.

Lost

I feel kind of lost and out of sorts because Rian Kenni and Graci are at Kims house for a week. They have only been gone one day, and I can't believe how much I miss them. There were times when I would think that it sure would be nice to have a day to myself to get everything cleaned and projects done. Now, I realize that I would much rather have them here and have things take me longer and have a cluttered house than a clean one. I just miss them. At the same time, I know they are having a great time and I guess it is good to miss them and hopefully they will miss me and we can all appreciate each other more. Sure made me know more than ever that I love to be their mom. On the bright side of them being gone, it is also fun to just be me, Brian and Shelby. Reminds me of the days when it was just the 3 of us when Rian was a baby. I think Shelby likes 100% attention from us. She has been so happy and laughing at everything it seems. Every Sunday I get feeling down and kind of sad thinking of Brian having to go back to work on Monday. I was feeling even more down tonight knowing my girls won't be here either. Then he suprised me by telling me he had taken tomorrow off! I love it when he does that. He was going to wait till morning but I was getting sad. So, tomorrow should be good. We want to get our stuff done around here, then go to lunch and we have the rodeo committee barbq tomorrrow night.
We had a great Kleinman family reunion at the Old Pinery this past weekend. I will post a few pictures I took. (I mostly did video). We had a great time seeing all my family that we don't see too often. Candice and I cooked the first night. We made navajo tacos and laughed and laughed because we had about 50 extra scones. It was pretty funny. We planned a little too well I suppose. We had such yummy food and it was just a really fun weekend for me. The girls went home with mom and dad and Kim and Carl and then in a couple weeks after the Torgersen reunion, Kims kids will come home with us and spend the week. We are doing a kid-swap.

Trae and Shelby
My sweeties and Camille who they love so much.

Oh, my Sissy Lou and her dad. I sure miss that little tyke.
I forgot about our little friend. Before we left on our trip, Brian had to get hay from the stack over to the horses. He started moving bales and two little heads poked out and about scared him to death. They were raccoons! He had to kill one :( but caught the other and brought it home. They were just babies but still pretty vicious. Me and the girls hiked up above our house a bit on the mountain to let it loose. He sure was cute. Too bad they aren't as nice as they are cute. I got to pet his little hand though.

Beads or peas?

This is kind of a gross story but funny too. I would have thought that 2 years ago Rian would have learned her lesson. She had stuck a bead that had fallen off a braid in her hair up her nose and after 3 days I discovered it. (I knew she had something going on with her nose but never thought anything was stuck up there). Well, last night while we were out picking a bunch of peas, she comes up to me and says " Mom, look! Help!" Sure enough, there was a PEA up her nose. I mean really, she will be 7 next week! And she had done this before! Luckily it wasn't too far up so I had her blow and the thing shot out like a bullet and hit me in the leg. They laughed about that all night long.

Busy weekend

We have had a very busy but fun weekend. I only have a couple pictures because most things we did was just me and the girls so it was harder to take any pictures. But I did make sure to take pictures of the girls in their Tie Dyed shirts we made. I wanted them all to have a 4th of July shirt so last Wednesday night we whipped out the supplies and made them. Kenni is mad in one because she wanted to hold Shelby. I took Shelby in for her 6 mo. appt and she is now 12.5 pounds. Brians sister Ali is here from California and we hadn't been able to see them much until Friday when we all decided to go to the Payson pool. We had a blast and now I know I can handle it alone with all 4 girls. Shelby really liked it. We had a great time. Then Friday night Ali took Rian kenni and Graci to the Genola Town dinner while we went to Meilssa Hales wedding dinner. It was at Thanksgiving point and soo nice and great food and I LOVED her dress. It really hit brian hard when he saw Mark dancing with Melissa and then the groom came and took her away with the song and everything he got emotional thinking of giving away all of his girls.
Then Saturday brian got up early and went out to do the Genola Fun Run and took 1st. He was even racing against some cross country stars from Nephi and he beat them all. Then at 10 we had the annual Genola parade. It is so small it has to go by twice and if you blink you will miss it. THen we ate hamburgers and goodies and bought raffle tickets for a bunch of stuff we wanted to win but of course didn't. There was a silent auction and I was bidding on a calf but got outbid at the last second. Brian said he will get us one from one of the many dairys around. I did win a cute juice pitcher though. Then last night was the rodeo. Brian is on the rodeo comittee so he had to work it all night. He even had to say the opening prayer. They always have the animal chase and all my girls were in tears because they didn't catch a bunny. (last year they caught a rooster that was half dead). I told them to just get something that looks alive and healthy. But no kitties since we have plenty of those. Shelby slept in my arms the whole time. Then we watched fireworks. After the rodeo they had to do the Slack and there were a ton of people so brian didn't get home until after 1 this morning. Our church starts at 8:30 and we all had a hard time getting up so Brian took Rian on time and we were going to go later but then they came back saying the church was all taped up. At first we thought swine flu scare but called a neighbor and he said there was a fire in the building so we were meeting at 9 with another ward. I think we were the last ones to know. They only did sacrament meeting this week for our ward then next week we will switch and have classes while the other ward goes home. Anyway, that was our weekend. Today all of Brians fam is coming for dinner.

Christmas in June and Fathers Day

For an early Christmas present, my parents came up last weekend and gave us a new Epoxy'd garage floor! It is great. It took a while to clear all our junk out of the way and cover it with tarps so things wouldn't get rained on. Dad worked hard 2 whole days and it is just wonderful. They stayed and went to church and ate Fathers Day dinner with us. We haven't had a Fathers day dinner with them for a long long time. My dad has been taking a painting class so we gave him an easel and paintbrushes. I thought the picture with Shelby was cute.

Photo of the Week

This is my favorite picture this week. I took this just now when Brian was snuggling with Shelby after not seeing her for 2 days. He picked her up and she just snuggled and layed her head right down on his shoulder. He had a fun race and he said they all did better than they did last year. They don't know official times and results yet though. I am glad he is home though.

Good Luck

Brian took off early this morning for the Wasatch Back Relay again this year. He has to do about 19 miles.(same hard leg as last year). Maybe next year I will be able to join him.

Kitties

So I posted earlier that Tiger had kitties. I thought there were 5, but really I guess 4. Then one died, so now just 3 Brian checked last night and of course, they are ALL girls. He walked in saying "what is UP with all the girls around here?!?!"
I am also sad to report, that Bella has never returned from wherever she is. The last time I saw her was the day before we left for Panquitch 3 weeks ago. (or more). I am wondering if she went to find a nice place to have her babies and died or something. whatever happened, I hope she is well and not suffering or is happy in kitty heaven now.
We have also been tending our good friends (Heather and Jared Morris) cat Lucy. She is the sweetest thing. She is a bit shy, but has warmed up to us now. I might just have to take a picture of her when we go see her today. I fell in love with her so now I am trying to talk Brian into letting us have one of Tigers kitty's in the house with us. He still hasn't relented. Yet.....

Long Time No Write
