April

We have been doing a lot of yard work the past month. I like to take pictures to document our progress. These were taken sometime last year.

This was last year putting the trampoline in the ground:

Then we dug a ditch for the riverbed

And built a couple retaining walls

Next came the sprinklers

And that was it for last year.

A couple weeks ago we did some spring cleanup, spread some topsoil, and got our curbing.
Next up is grass and putting all the rocks in the riverbed.

Grandma and Grandpa Ewell are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this month.
On March 30th we had a party at UVU. All the kids were there along with their siblings.

For spring break we went to St. George. It was great to visit with mom and dad and Kim and Carl. We got in some hiking, biking, and running.

We saw some great petroglyphs

We even met a rattlesnake along the way

We all left messages for Christian's bday

While Dad and Brian were at Priesthood mom and I made cake bites

Matt loves Kort. He once said "He warms my bitter soul".

My boy is 6 months old! He likes to squeal a lot. Its kind of embarrassing in church, but it's very cute.

He is 14 lbs 14 oz. and he just started sitting by himself this week.

Last Friday the girls went to 3 elementary schools to perform with clogging.
It was a fun day. Cloggers are awesome to watch.

clogging

Our first clogging competition of the year was a couple weeks ago at Thanksgiving Point. Graci was the only one doing this one. She was so cute and her team got 2 first place ribbons.

I had both her dances recorded but on the way home Shelby deleted one of them.

Graci is on the front row far right

The Tooth Movie

I made this for our own home movie collection because Graci was so funny. She asked us one night if her tooth was ready to be pulled. It was barely, I mean barely even wiggling. She probably had at least 2 months of waiting for it to loosen. She disappeared for a half hour and came and asked again. She had been in the bathroom yanking on it with dental floss. She talked her dad into trying to get it out. After a lot of work, it finally came. Then a week later she did the same thing with the other tooth! I didn't know about it until they came upstairs and she showed it to me. She was thrilled. The movie is a bit long but like I said, it is mostly for her when she is all grown up.

Happy Valentines!

The girls wanted their Valentines pretty much like last years except Graci wanted to wear a mustache:

Kenni loves to ride! Everywhere we go we have to trot because she just loves it.

Kort turned 4 months on Sunday. This was taken yesterday after his doc appt. and shots.

He is 12 lbs 9 oz  and 23.5 inches long.
He giggles a lot now and it is the sweetest thing.

Shelby really enjoys playing old maid.

These girls LOVE their brother

Kenni and Scarlett. Oh, excuse me. Lexie and Lexie. This photo was taken when they learned the truth and discovered they are twins! They both have dimples on their shoulders. It was a momentous occasion.

Meet Thunder! Our new puppy. He is a registered lab. I'm going to breed Labradoodles!

Shelby has SCARY eyes and she's not afraid to use them so watch out.

Brian was in Vegas the last part of Jan. for work and the kids had Monday off of school so we went to the mall and got Graci's ears pierced!

I was in a hurry one day and asked Brian to do Shelby's hair:

Fooling around with Dad:

The kids made a Birthday poster for their dad. Not sure where the other girls were for this photo:

Long Time No Write

I really wanted to keep up on this for my journal writing but alas, life gets in the way. So I will try to do a little catch-up. The most n...
