clogging

Our first clogging competition of the year was a couple weeks ago at Thanksgiving Point. Graci was the only one doing this one. She was so cute and her team got 2 first place ribbons.

I had both her dances recorded but on the way home Shelby deleted one of them.

The Tooth Movie

I made this for our own home movie collection because Graci was so funny. She asked us one night if her tooth was ready to be pulled. It was barely, I mean barely even wiggling. She probably had at least 2 months of waiting for it to loosen. She disappeared for a half hour and came and asked again. She had been in the bathroom yanking on it with dental floss. She talked her dad into trying to get it out. After a lot of work, it finally came. Then a week later she did the same thing with the other tooth! I didn't know about it until they came upstairs and she showed it to me. She was thrilled. The movie is a bit long but like I said, it is mostly for her when she is all grown up.

Happy Valentines!

The girls wanted their Valentines pretty much like last years except Graci wanted to wear a mustache:

Kenni loves to ride! Everywhere we go we have to trot because she just loves it.

Kort turned 4 months on Sunday. This was taken yesterday after his doc appt. and shots.

He is 12 lbs 9 oz  and 23.5 inches long.
He giggles a lot now and it is the sweetest thing.

Shelby really enjoys playing old maid.

These girls LOVE their brother

Kenni and Scarlett. Oh, excuse me. Lexie and Lexie. This photo was taken when they learned the truth and discovered they are twins! They both have dimples on their shoulders. It was a momentous occasion.

Meet Thunder! Our new puppy. He is a registered lab. I'm going to breed Labradoodles!

Shelby has SCARY eyes and she's not afraid to use them so watch out.

Brian was in Vegas the last part of Jan. for work and the kids had Monday off of school so we went to the mall and got Graci's ears pierced!

I was in a hurry one day and asked Brian to do Shelby's hair:

The kids made a Birthday poster for their dad. Not sure where the other girls were for this photo:

3 months!

Last Thursday my little man turned 3 months. 3 months=300,000 kisses he has had to endure.

He is already a little heartbreaker. He has the RS ladies fighting over who gets to hold him while I play the piano. (my new calling. I still can't figure out what it is with this ward and giving me all these musical callings). I just love him.

It has been soooo cold! Last year wasn't anywhere near this cold for this long. We have had to break ice for all the poor animals at least 3 times a day. I had to take a couple pictures of Brian's Christmas presents because it looked really cool and reminded me of the cartoon bulls you see with steam coming out of their noses:

At least the sheep stay plenty warm

The horses are always nice and cozy too. i love sticking my hands under their mane where its so warm.

Its these guys we have to worry about:

They have kept us very busy the past two months. Brian would get up at 3:30 to get them all fed. Then we (mostly the girls) would help at night. They are all weaned now though so its a lot easier.
I was out taking pictures of all the animals when Rian and Kendell drove past on the 4-wheeler. They had just unloaded their 3rd pile of firewood. They were so cute doing their chores. I sure am proud of my girls. They are such hard workers and can feed cows, shovel manure, and haul wood with the best of them. However, unless you want the wrath of Kenni unleashed upon you, don't ask her to pick up rocks.

December was a busy month. Kort was blessed,  Christmas parties, and both Graci and Shelby had birthdays.
Grandma and Grandpa Ewell went to Virginia and was missing some birthdays so they came over with a cake to celebrate with Shelby and Graci.

Then she had some friends over for a party one night. We had pigs in a blanket for dinner, and they made Christmas trees and played.

Rian and Kendell had some classmates over for a Christmas party. They each pick out a fun present and then they draw names and exchange them. They have a great time.

They also had a Christmas Piano recital. They are getting really good and I love to hear them play.

We had a great Christmas and that evening Kim and Carl came for dinner and spent the night.

Long Time No Write

I really wanted to keep up on this for my journal writing but alas, life gets in the way. So I will try to do a little catch-up. The most n...
