3 months!

Last Thursday my little man turned 3 months. 3 months=300,000 kisses he has had to endure.

He is already a little heartbreaker. He has the RS ladies fighting over who gets to hold him while I play the piano. (my new calling. I still can't figure out what it is with this ward and giving me all these musical callings). I just love him.

It has been soooo cold! Last year wasn't anywhere near this cold for this long. We have had to break ice for all the poor animals at least 3 times a day. I had to take a couple pictures of Brian's Christmas presents because it looked really cool and reminded me of the cartoon bulls you see with steam coming out of their noses:

At least the sheep stay plenty warm

The horses are always nice and cozy too. i love sticking my hands under their mane where its so warm.

Its these guys we have to worry about:

They have kept us very busy the past two months. Brian would get up at 3:30 to get them all fed. Then we (mostly the girls) would help at night. They are all weaned now though so its a lot easier.
I was out taking pictures of all the animals when Rian and Kendell drove past on the 4-wheeler. They had just unloaded their 3rd pile of firewood. They were so cute doing their chores. I sure am proud of my girls. They are such hard workers and can feed cows, shovel manure, and haul wood with the best of them. However, unless you want the wrath of Kenni unleashed upon you, don't ask her to pick up rocks.

December was a busy month. Kort was blessed,  Christmas parties, and both Graci and Shelby had birthdays.
Grandma and Grandpa Ewell went to Virginia and was missing some birthdays so they came over with a cake to celebrate with Shelby and Graci.

Then she had some friends over for a party one night. We had pigs in a blanket for dinner, and they made Christmas trees and played.

Rian and Kendell had some classmates over for a Christmas party. They each pick out a fun present and then they draw names and exchange them. They have a great time.

They also had a Christmas Piano recital. They are getting really good and I love to hear them play.

We had a great Christmas and that evening Kim and Carl came for dinner and spent the night.

2 months old!

My little honey was blessed today. He was such an angel and snoozed away the whole time. He will be two months old tomorrow! I can't believe he is no longer my little newborn. He is starting to smile so much now and it is the sweetest thing. Nothing melts your heart like your baby's smiles meant just for you.
I still have yet to catch one on camera though :)

Kort was blessed in the same outfit his dad was. As well as uncles Dave and Mike. He looked really cute. Rian was blessed in the same dress I was, and each of the other girls have their own dresses. So I put them all in shadow boxes (including the dress my mom was blessed in) Now Brian's and Kort's completes the collection.

He was getting hungry:

Candice and Cayden:

I took this photo in the dark so it is hard to see but it was my cute centerpiece for today.

I use the logs to set food on.

My baby is growing up!!!

Last weekend we went to Perry for Tyler's baptism. Then we went to Casey's house for a surprise birthday party for mom. Under the pretense of a Holiday party. It was a great party! Great company, food, and fun.

I took a picture of Candice taking pictures:

We had a really funny white elephant exchange. Matt got a shirt that said "Blind Chicks think I'm Hot". It was perfect! This is what I gave:

It actually has a really funny story behind it. We went to Vegas one weekend several years ago and the dogs went with us to St. George. Bo stayed with mom and dad but Phoebe stayed at Kims house. She was in the backyard and she barked a lot so I think Kim ended up sleeping out there with her or something like that. So I wrote her a poem:

Ode to Kim

We thank you so much for tending our dog.
Even though she crows louder than a frog.
She would have been sad without her peeps,
So we had to sacrifice, and cause you no sleep.
We wrote this poem because we sure do love you.
But most important, Phoebe does too!

Chase got the photo. I think he was rather pleased with his gift.  Its probably sitting on his nightstand.

We had our family pictures done by our neighbor a few weeks ago. Kort takes after his dad. He does not like his picture taken.

Long Time No Write

I really wanted to keep up on this for my journal writing but alas, life gets in the way. So I will try to do a little catch-up. The most n...
