Dancing and more

Rian and Kenni had their dance recital last night. They did a great job and they are always so fun to watch.
One day last week Kenni, Graci, Shelby and I all needed to get out of the house. So we took a trip to Mcdonalds to grab some lunch then we headed over to a local pond to eat and feed the ducks and just play. I didn't get any pictures of them feeding the ducks, because I was busy using the camcorder. We sure had a fun time. It was fun to see some Mama ducks with their babies. Brought back memories of my 2 ducks I had as a kid. Desmond and Delila.
Graci was so cute the other day. We talk to the girls about being peacemakers, and anyway she was talking to me about this and that and said "I am going to be a peacemaker for Halloween". Apparantly, she hasn't grasped the concept of making peace.
Brian took some more pictures of my tulips and got a really cute one with Bella. (one of our kitties). Which by the way, I think both Tiger and Bella are "with Kitty". So, if anyone wants a kitten, I know where you can find one. Oh ya, something VERY exciting will be coming into my yard soon. I won't write about it until the grand reveal, but I CAN'T WAIT. It is something I have wanted for a long time.
Shelby turned 4 months a couple weeks ago. She is 10 pounds. 13 oz. Kenni helped me give her some rice cereal last week for the first time. She seemed to like it, but I haven't taken the time to give it to her again.

Frustrations and Memories

So I still have a bunch of home videos I am in the process of transferring to DVD. I bought us a new video camera today, so hopefully in the future it will make this process easier. Since I go through a lot of computers, (this one right now is like our 5th since getting married) Brian usually brings me some from work that no one is using. Anyway, we are having dvd burner problems and it seems like everything I touch breaks. Hence so many computers. Anyway, we both have been frustrated with technology tonight. Brian especially since he works with computers all day. The last think he wants to do at home is work on them. It is a love/hate relationship with technology we decided. I can't sleep and I can't really do too much as far as laundry or anything, for fear of waking up the girls, so I am just on this silly machine looking at pictures. But I take advantage of quite times to write. Since this blog is really turning into my journal, I will probably write a lot of things that are boring to most people.
We had soccer last night, tonight, and dance and soccer again tomorrow night. and Graci still isn't feeling well. I thought she had strep again because her tonsils are all infected. But she doesn't. I guess it won't be too long before we get them taken out. I am excited though because my mom and dad are coming up to my house tomorrow. So is my sister kim and her fam. My two nephews are getting baptised on Sat. Matt and Tait. Rian and Kenni have a dance competition so Brian will stay and take them to that, and me, Graci and Shelby will go up to Layton for the baptisms.
I have posted some of my girls dance pictures. Well, my mom just sent this one to me. It is of me and my friends when I used to clog. I am in the middle. Our dance was "King Tut"

When I was little, I had a toy poodle named Toni. I sure miss that little dog and wish I had him still.
Everyday when I was walking home from school, Toni would be at the window looking for me. My mom would let him out and he would race down the circle to meet me. He slept in my bed every night.
Just a couple of me from way back when.

Flowers, Dancing and Graffiti

My tulips are in full bloom now. However, every year, they get eaten by the deer. So far they have gotten some out of one flower bed before they bloomed. My others are still here but we never know for how long, so I take pictures of them every year. We have tried several different things like spreading human hair and stuff around them, but found that it doesn't work for long because the wind blows it away.
Rian and Kenni had their annual dance pictures taken on Sat. They will be soo cute! But I had to come home and take some pictures of just the two of them together. As you can see, Kenni didn't want to have anything to do with getting her picture taken.
Since Saturday was such a rainy day, we were just sitting around so we decided to take a drive out to our property to see how our trees our growing. Anyway, we were suprised to discover graffitti all over some of the interior walls of the barn. Brian's chainsaw is missing, and my dad's old truck that is parked out there was rummaged through. So the cop came (who we discovered today is in our ward. We couldn't quite figure how we knew the guy yesterday. Then we saw him in church again today and it all clicked. They have even sat on the bench behind us a few times)and took pictures, and picked up the leftover spray cans with his gloves on in case they maybe can find fingerprints if they decide to check. We probably won't ever find out who it is, but kind of scary.

Back in the Saddle Again

Finally, after months of cold weather ( I am a wimp in the cold and won't ride too often), we get to enjoy our four legged friends again. Brian does all year round, but I wait till it is nice. It was fun yesterday to climb up on Missy girl and take a ride with my cowgirls. Kenni and Graci LOVE it. Rian does to, but didn't ride yesterday. We also got to go see the neighbor guy and his kids giving his show steers a bath. They sure were pretty cows all nice and cleaned up.The kids had fun watching them. It was just a nice pleasant day, being able to enjoy a lot of sunshine. We also found this bug thing. It is black and hard (I should take a picture of it) and I thought maybe it was some kind of caterpillar in a cocoon, but Brian disagreed. So we brough it home to see what it does. So far, it does nothing but sit there. It does wiggle every now and then though. It is a strange creature however and I am curious as to what it is. Brian thinks it is just some kind of wierd ugly worm.

(a side note. My blog is "unprivate" for a while because some people have forgotten how to log on and see it. So it is for their benefit.)

Lemonade/Sucker Stand
The girls have really been wanting to do a lemonade and sucker stand. So, Saturday, we obliged them. Throughout the week I made a little variety of suckers and then we got out all their supplies and they made a poster and sat outside all day selling goodies. Considering it was spring break and a lot of people were gone, they did really really well. Suprised both brian and I with how many came. They made over 15 dollars! They had lots of fun doing it and it was cute to see them out there.

St. George Trip

I got looking, and realized I never posted anything about our latest trip to St. George. We went down the end of February for Brian's Duathalon at Tuachan. He took 1st in his age group and 10th overall. They had to run 3 miles, bike 25, then run another 3. Carl ran it to, as well as our neighbor Jon Young. They all really enjoyed it and can't wait for next year. The girls ran in the kids race right after and they all got a medal. We had a good trip hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa and the cousins. A Big THANK YOU to Kim who tended Phoebe for us. That is a funny story. If you ever want to hear about it, ask me. I won't post the darling pictures of Kim and Phoebe because she said she didn't like them. (They were really cute though).

So, here are pictures from a few weeks ago.
